About us - History

St Michaels Mount is a purpose-built care home, built in 1992 by Liverpool-based property company Maghull Group. The residential nursing home houses 45 residents, and is situated within the same grounds as the Maghull Group property, St Michaels Manor House.

Although a new build itself, St Michaels Mount is steeped in history. Adjacent to a 19th Manor House, the home is also situated within the quiet Liverpool suburb of Woolton, a village recorded in the Domesday Book between 1085 and 1086.

Maghull Group continues to play a strong role at St Michaels and progressing into the future will further fund the property in its maintenance and development.
